LYCS Architecture the main building of the designed Shanghai Baoye center office headquarters center located in Shanghai Hong Qiao CBD has recently been officially completed! Upon completion of the project in 2016 the center will achieve the highest green ecological 3-Star and US LEED GOLD standards and will showcase the most advanced technology in the domestic construction field in all aspects.
LYCS Architecture design the headquarters building for Baoye Group is located in lot 02 of the south zone of shanghai hong qiao commercial district. Located on an l-shaped base within a trapezoidal plot, the scheme's form is based on a five-story volume rising vertically from the base, with some extrusion of the form according to the boundaries, combined with hollowing out of the interior, resulting in a whole of three buildings connected by connecting corridors of different heights. The main building encompasses offices and a rooftop garden, and the landscape on its ground floor actively connects the surrounding spaces, creating a free flowing semi-public space that fits the unique form of the main building.
Parking, staff cafeteria and coffee shop, relaxation spa and staff dormitory are arranged underground, and sunlight is brought into the underground interior space through the height difference of the sunken plaza and the excavation of the ground level. The project aims to create an inspiring office environment, giving users a multi-layered architectural experience and a sense of space. In dialogue with the complex diversity of the city, it takes into account the order of the classical chinese garden, the visual perception, the volume relationship and the harmonious coexistence of the building and the courtyard.
