From the time we designed and transformed the historic warehouse into our first office, renovation and renewal has been an important gene in our design, aiming to be the design innovator for urban renewal. From Dave & Bella, where an industrial building was upgraded to an office headquarters, to Yu Fengli Hotel, which became a new scenic spot in the old city of Linhai, to the Blue Peacock industrial heritage at the former site of Hangzhou Chemical Fiber Factory, we have continued to accomplish the challenges in high-density cities, especially in historic preservation areas, through different renovation strategies and site designs.
Sustainability and adaptability are the most important components when we reshape cities for the future. To achieve this goal, we implement a range of design services from architectural and site research, historic preservation policy interpretation, and integrated architecture and interior design, while based on the strength of renovation and renewal, we incorporate site design that cannot be expressed in drawings as a flexible solution with a sense of impromptu throughout the design of renovation and renewal, preserving its transition between history and future.
