The curtain wall installation of Shanghai Baoye Center project designed by LYCS Architecture is nearing completion!
LYCS Architecture design the headquarters building for Baoye Group is located in lot 02 of the south zone of shanghai hong qiao commercial district. Located on an l-shaped base within a trapezoidal plot, the scheme's form is based on a five-story volume rising vertically from the base, with some extrusion of the form according to the boundaries, combined with hollowing out of the interior, resulting in a whole of three buildings connected by connecting corridors of different heights. The main building encompasses offices and a rooftop garden, and the landscape on its ground floor actively connects the surrounding spaces, creating a free flowing semi-public space that fits the unique form of the main building.
Parking, staff cafeteria and coffee shop, leisure spa and staff dormitory are arranged underground, and sunlight is brought into the underground interior space through the height difference of the sunken plaza and the excavation of the ground level. The project is a 3-star green building and LEED Gold compliant building that aims to create an inspiring office environment that gives users a multi-layered architectural experience and sense of space. In dialogue with the complex diversity of the city, it takes into account the order of the classical Chinese garden, the visual perception, the volume relationship and the harmonious coexistence of the building and the courtyard.
