On the occasion of the 19th National Congress, the Montreal International Design Summit-China Pavilion was grandly opened at the Montreal International Convention and Exhibition Centre. This is the stunning debut of design in china, changing the established impression of made in china in foreigners' minds, and presenting a new concept and international appearance in this design exhibition. LYCS Architecture was invited by the China Architecture Society to participate in the "CHINA BRAND" exhibition to promote Chinese design culture and development prospects.
Montreal was named a "city of design" by unesco in 2006. The summit will cover six major fields, including architectural design, graphic design, industrial design, interior design, landscape design and urban planning, and aims to broaden the horizons of global design professionals, promote design as a social and economic driver, and promote design as a social and economic driver and communication with decision makers, industry representatives and the media. A total of 4,500-7,000 design professionals, government officials, business leaders, industry representatives, media personalities and non-profit organizations from more than 80 countries around the world will attend the WDSM summit.
