"For Hangzhou Future Technology Haishu School, the designer thought about 'how to break the concept of traditional campus through design and give children the happy space they deserve at this age', and completed the integrated architectural and interior design of a comprehensive building including kindergarten and elementary school. Inspired by the language of children's drawings, the ideal campus in children's writing is full of friendly scales and joyful streets. From this point of view, the 28,000-square-meter volume was broken up into 15 small houses with sloping roofs, and the scale of the building was gradually enlarged according to the different scales and behaviors of kindergarten and elementary school grades, creating a comfortable campus with friendly volumes and pleasant scales through the combination of small volume courtyards. "
"The entire campus and buildings are integrated with the human volume and the growth and emotions of the site and the children.' Small Town Story' style plan will allow the children to wander through the fairy tale like town." -- 2019 ArchDaily China Architecture of the Year Award Review
