Located in Keqiao, Shaoxing, the base is invested by KINCANGGroup, a local enterprise in Shaoxing, and its planning, architecture and interior are designed by LYCS Architecture. Based on the long history of the city and the unique texture of the site, the architects took the maximum restoration and enhancement of the city's natural organization as the starting point of the overall planning.

The design uses the "three distant methods" of ancient landscape painting - high, deep and flat - as a strategy for building layout. From low-density areas to high-density areas, the natural landscape penetrates into each household. The design of the building facade extracts the elements that form the spreading lines from the figurative forms, restores the morphological characteristics of the egret spreading its wings and flying in the lines, and thus develops a whole set of morphological and facade systems to make the facade form a sequence of curves with great tension and flow.

By thinking about the linkage design of the building and interior layout, the gray spaces such as corridors and balconies corresponding to the building shape are made into interior flow spaces, so that the rooms are no longer separated independently because of their functions, forming an overall circulation flow, enhancing the accessibility of the whole space, linking the family's living scenes, and creating a warm and interesting family relationship. This is an innovative residential design by LYCS Architecture based on the city's cultural heritage and natural ecology.
