RUAN Hao, the founder of LYCS Architecture was invited to share his design ideas on the theme of "Urban Binary" on behalf of LYCS Architecture at the China Architecture Forum.
Elementary school that let students run on the roof, Catable that let pets travel freely, kindergartens that are small houses with big parks, and super high-rise office complexes with zero energy consumption ...... Each project of LYCS Architecture is breaking the mold and breeding cutting-edge whimsy.
"The whole process, I go to the user's needs and eventually implement it in some way, so the underlying logic of these things is exactly the same. The essence of design is to solve problems, and the user is more important than the client. Designers need to get out of the loop, they need to participate in the city, to understand the city, the people around them."
