Haiyan Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum Under Construction

LYCS Architectureis responsible for the renovation and design of the "Inheritance and New Life" Haiyan Intangible Cultural Heritage Pavilion in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, which is currently under construction. With an area of 7,210 square meters, the original site of the project is an electric power instrumentation factory, which will become a multifunctional landmark commercial and cultural complex for cultural exhibition, commercial retail, tourism and lodging.

The overall planning is designed with the strategy of "inheriting traditional culture and realizing the rebirth of old factories." The project includes three major visions: forming a node linkage of "four parks and two pavilions," Inheriting intangible cultural heritage and realizing the rebirth of old factories, and exploring traditional culture and new modes of contemporary tourism. The project is committed to creating landmark business cards, creating public spaces, and providing carriers for the inheritance and display of intangible cultural heritage.
