Recently, LYCS Architecture was invited to participate in the 2024 Xiamen International Design and Art Exhibition, which was held at the Xiamen Art Museum from March 22nd to April 6th, 2024. The project "Rolling Hillscape" Quzhou Smart Town Digital Economy Industrial Park, designed with integrated architecture and interior by us, was featured in the on-site exhibition during the event. The Xiamen International Design and Art Exhibition, co-hosted by the China Interior Decoration Association and the Academy of Arts and Design Tsinghua University, adopts the theme "Yuedong, Design create high-quality life." It has invited 72 renowned designers, artists, and independent studios from 15 countries and regions to showcase their top-notch works. Among them are forward-looking works from renowned design firms such as MVRDV, BIG, SOM, and Foster+Partners. The exhibition aims to create an international exhibition that gathers cutting-edge design and art treasures for the general public.
The "Rolling Hillscape" Quzhou Smart Town Digital Economy Industrial Park is located in the core area of the Quzhou High-speed Railway New City. The total construction area of 95,570 square meters comprises three main functions: the Smart Service Center, the Science and Technology Incubation Center, and the Urban Exhibition Hall, forming a comprehensive digital complex. The architectural design employs a strategy of low-rise, high-density, and continuous undulating rooflines unify the buildings into an extended mountainous landscape. The architecture appears delicately nestled within nature, harmonizing with the distant mountains surrounding the cityscape.
