LYCS Invited to 2025 MODERN SHANGHAI Design Week

On September 9th, Mr. Lai Zhenyu, Partner at LYCS Architecture, was invited to attend the 2025 Modern Shanghai Design Week. At the themed forum "Narrative & Symbiosis: Emotional Connections in Architecture and Interior Design," he delivered a keynote speech titled “The Past of the Future” sharing his design thinking and practical experience.

As a key platform promoting Chinese design globally, Modern Shanghai joins forces with leading media Interior Design (USA), with strong support from the Shanghai Interior Design and Landscape & Ecology Committees, to present an international forum bridging creativity, academia, and practice.

The forum aims to examine how designers can transform a spatial project into a living narrative—one that not only meets functional needs, but also evokes emotional resonance, conveys cultural value, and deeply connects with users' lifestyles.
