On September 4, 2025, the final results of the UED "Contemporary Chinese Young Architect Award" were officially announced. Following a rigorous evaluation by the jury, Mr. Ruan Hao, founding principal of LYCS Architecture, was honored with the title of "Contemporary Outstanding Young Architect of China."

As a leading media platform in the field of architecture and urban design in China, UED has consistently documented global architectural developments with a keen perspective, while focusing on the growth and practice of Chinese architects. To trace the development trajectory of Chinese architecture over the past two decades, UED launched the “Outstanding Young Architects in 20 Years of Contemporary Chinese Architecture” selection program. The final jury was chaired by Zhang Li and composed of renowned architects from China and abroad, including Christian Kerez, Hu Ang, Zhang Ming, Jia Beisi, Zhou Rong, Wei Chunyu, Zhang Lei, Liu Yichun, and Li Chunfang. With a professional perspective, the jury conducted a rigorous evaluation of the shortlisted architects and their works, ensuring the fairness and authority of the final results.
