Assistant Interior Designer

As an Assistant Designer in the Interior Design Department at LYCS Architecture, you will be involved in the full design process of a project under the direction of the lead designer and partners. Your direct report will be to the lead designer or design director. Your work will include, but not limited to, assistant design work for schematic design, assistant design work for construction drawings, and on-site service work during the construction phase, as follows:

Program Design Assistant Job:

You will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of the lead designer and participate in the full process of project design, which includes: design bid phase, concept design phase, and scheme design phase. Specific design work includes but is not limited to:

1. Concept stage: brainstorming, collection of reference cases, drawing of floor plans, coloring and presentation text layout.
2. Program phase: pushing design through modeling, rendering space effects, deepening and drawing of floor plans, arrangement of reporting text, technical docking of suppliers, etc. 

Construction drawings and post service work:

At LYCS Architecture, we expect each Assistant Designer to gain experience in the full design-to-build process by participating in construction drawing design and construction site services. Therefore you will have the opportunity to participate in construction drawing design as well as construction phase field services by working on, but not limited to:

1. Construction drawing stage: draw the construction drawing of interior decoration, prepare various parts form, and finish the inquiry sample by contacting material and parts suppliers.
2. On-site services during the construction phase: on-site or regular inspection of the project site, on-site resolution of design problems, issuance of design change contact orders and other related work.

We need you to meet the following requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above in architecture, environmental art, interior design or other related majors; 985, 211 or with foreign study background is preferred;
2. 1 year or more relevant work experience with good theoretical literacy, design performance and presentation skills;;
3. Strong sense of responsibility and good teamwork and communication skills, able to work with a fast pace;
4. Strong ability to learn quickly and execute efficiently.
