Exhibition Project Designer

Job Description

As the lead designer of the exhibition design team, you will take the role of project leader and lead a team of 2-3 assistant designers to participate in the completion of the whole process of a project. Your direct reporting partner is the partner of the company, your work is mainly divided into two aspects of design and management, as follows:

Design work:

Playing a central role in the design process of the project you are responsible for, advancing the design work with the goal of achieving the owner's needs and long-term value, and delivering design deliverables with a degree of innovation, you will be responsible for the following:

  1. Accurate and comprehensive understanding of the owner's first needs and long-term values, and implementation into the design work;
  2. Pre-planning and deepening design work of exhibition and display projects, multimedia space planning and design.
  3. Directing the 3D and graphic design teams to complete final design proposals, etc;
  4. Leading the team through design expansion drawings and overseeing project production until creative completion of the project;
  5. Participate in the whole process of exhibition design services, oriented to the full realization of the design effect, and responsible for the presentation of the exhibition hall;
  6. Follow up on site construction to ensure that the project can be landed in a high quality manner.

Project work:

As a project leader, you will be involved in liaising and communicating with clients, leading the team to realize creative innovations efficiently and with high quality, and ensuring that each project is realized on the ground with high quality. You will be responsible for the following:

  1. Participate in the development of project time schedules and participate in estimating the staff and time commitment required for the project;
  2. Leading the team to complete the design work step by step by rationalizing the daily work of assistant designers;
  3. Responsible for liaison and communication with clients, including project presentations and research discussions;
  4. Responsible for coordinating the work of other cooperating design units and following the implementation of key design decisions;
  5. Deliver high-quality results that meet the design depth requirements according to the project location specifications and government and owner requirements.
Job Requirements

We need you to meet the following requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in display or space design, interior design, environmental design related majors;
  2. 5 years or more working experience, and 2 years or more experience in exhibition project coordination and management, experience in charge of multiple projects at the same time is preferred;
  3. Strong sense of responsibility and resistance to stress, as well as good organizational, communication and coordination skills;
  4. Creative thinking ability and hand-drawing ability and aesthetic skills, with knowledge and understanding of multimedia space.
