Future Home is a future-oriented greenhouse for the Baoye Group based on the "Green Vision for the Future" design strategy by LYCS Architecture. The design aims to create an exemplary and influential low-carbon industrialized independent residence, presenting a future lifestyle space and creating a healthy and comfortable residential space for future high-net-worth individuals. Adopting a variety of green building technologies, which are currently the most advanced in China, combined with ecological design strategies, is expected to achieve the goal of zero-carbon housing upon completion.
The design takes a typical future three-generation family as the research object and defines the living subjects as the elderly family, the core family and three children. The design places these three parts on the first to third floors of the building, and the building form forms a progression of receding terraces to meet the independent indoor and terrace activity space of each part of the population. At the same time, the horizontal wrap-around building form echoes the natural conditions around the site, forming a gesture of embracing nature. The transparent floor-to-ceiling windows and eaves form a horizontal space extension to the landscape interface, thus obtaining sufficient sunlight and resources and reducing energy consumption.
The interior design is a second deepening of the architectural space and is oriented to the usage scenario, integrating a wide landscape view and intelligent home design. The "anthill", a low-carbon green space prototype, is used for the layout of the atrium and each floor of the independent house. Our design focuses on reducing energy consumption through building appearance, internal structure, material selection, and intelligent systems. We also incorporate green building technology and intelligent systems to achieve zero energy consumption and carbon neutrality for a comfortable, safe, and eco-friendly living environment. Our goal is to create an ideal home that is energy-efficient and environmentally conscious.
