In the Lishui Economic and Tech Zone, the 70,000-square-meter project is a nine-year school by the Lishui Wenyuan Education Group. The design avoids traditional inefficient spaces and blocks student movement, aiming for a dynamic and attractive school.
Traditional secondary schools focus on admin buildings or big plazas, causing inefficient spaces and blocking student movement. To change this, the Lishui Wenyuan School design aims for a dynamic, attractive school. Located on Jiangnan Road in Nancheng, Lishui Economic and Tech Zone, the 70,000-square-meter project is a nine-year consistent school by Lishui City's Wenyuan Education Group.
The campus design has a "Little Sun" layout, with a central courtyard linked to each building by a corridor. The main building and central corridor form a podium, partly raised to match student movement and corridor functions. A patio adds light, making the flexible corridor suit different needs. Students access the multi-level, three-dimensional central space and extensions from all directions after school.
Buildings circle the central courtyard with public teaching spaces on the ground floor, connected by a circular corridor. Functions blend with the environment, forming a southern teaching area, a northern living area, and a western sports area. The main building is adjusted for function and light, creating a rich courtyard space and practical use.
