Baoye Vitality World is located in Qingpu District, Shanghai. Unlike traditional residential areas, this project innovatively adopts a four-sided planning layout to maximize the central green space for the community. The community commercial center comprises three connected buildings: the community activity center, exhibition center and office commercial. The commercial space and the residential space bite into each other with the concept of connection, creating not only space but also the integration of different behaviors of different people.
The community is designed to cater to the main consumers of the upcoming era - post-90s and post-00s. It is built with the concepts of "technology empowerment, connection and symbiosis, future-oriented, and tribute to architecture" in mind to create a community that aligns better with young people's consumption concept and lifestyle. The commercial buildings along the street are connected by overhanging corridors, flexible and demountable landscape decks and enhanced lines on the façade so that the vibrant center can achieve a dialogue state of interpenetration functionally and visually. The activity center facing the community center park blurs the boundary between residential and commercial using large steps, forming a three-dimensional indoor and outdoor activity place.
