ChicBus is a "good-looking" black technology collection store positioned to bring technology closer to life and make life better with technology. We designed the Xixi Yintai store with an experience-oriented strategy. It combines futuristic sci-fi space and traditional humanistic sentiment to show the collision between the future and tradition in technology. This creates a high-tech retail store that matches the brand and differs from conventional tech stores.
The intersecting "lines" serve as the main axis, dividing the space into two contrasting parts. This allows virtual and real elements to collide at a large interface. The "lines" also orient the space and guide visitor flow.
An invisible wall divides the space from floor to ceiling, creating distinct "virtual" and "real" experiences. One side features bright space for cool, high-tech products, while the other has dark space for trendy, traditional products. Although separated by different forms, the integrated flow lines strengthen the space as a whole.
In the high-tech product area of a light-colored matrix, the light-transmitting "energy box" display cases and the transparent and smooth surface create a "virtual space" like a dream. The traditional product area with dark wood panels and metallic brass creates a "realistic space" with a rugged industrial feel.
Interior lighting creates different atmospheres with specific techniques. In the "virtual space," lights at the top matrix intersections create a bright area. In the "real space," metallic chandeliers and concealed light strips illuminate a darker area with traditional humanistic feelings.
