The Hangzhou West DERLOOOK Malll is a home showcase space created by LYCS Architecture for Zhejiang Sixth Space. Founded in 2003, Sixth Space, with its forward-looking business philosophy and leading operation level, has established a new business model with customer-centered, three-in-one product power, service power and experience power. It has quickly become the preferred platform for international brands to enter China.
The original site of the project is a large supermarket. The building shape is closed and not conducive to display. The design of the "stage of furniture" concept of the building facade transformation emphasizes the concept of "home space and time" so that the space becomes a stage for furniture to express itself in the facade. The perforated panels on the façade soften the hard building volume, allowing the subject to tell its history and future and the stage to dialogue with the city through the building façade. The interior space is designed with the dimension of time in mind, allowing consumers to experience the shopping experience on different floors and feels that the display space is changing.
