The "Suspended roof" Gaojing Village Canal Cultural and Art Center is being designed by LYCS Architecture and is currently in the conceptual design stage. Located in Shangyu, Shaoxing, the project features an art exhibition area, educational research classrooms, management offices, and recreational spaces.
The Gaojing Village Canal Culture and Art Center features a vast roof that maximizes the coverage of the outdoor plaza while shaping a clean and distinctive architectural form. The semi-open gray space extends the functionality of the art gallery, accommodating art activities, exhibitions, and leisure activities, creating a versatile and dynamic environment.
