LYCS Architecture designed the overhead floor of the Beihai Royal Bay Residence for JINCHANGQIYA. The project is located in Beihai City, Guangxi, an important port of departure for the ancient "Maritime Silk Road." The surrounding landscape resources are rich and the climate is pleasant.
The original space planning had a low utilization rate and could not meet the residents' weekday activity needs. The remodeling aims to improve the original community living environment, create diversified social activity spaces for the owners, and enrich the community life outside the home. The design combines the original three-sided open space advantage of the elevated floor with the strategy of "internal and external interoperability" and "static and dynamic zoning", dividing the social space into open, semi-open, closed and other types, and superimposing the recreational courtyard (functional area) and the promenade (elevated floor) to introduce the outdoor landscape into the indoor promenade, and the outdoor landscape into the indoor promenade, so that the residents can enjoy their daily activities. The outdoor landscape is introduced into the indoor promenade, creating a functional, natural and comfortable courtyard community.
