LYCS Architecture designed KINCANG Egrets Waves 3.0 residence showroom with integrated architecture and interior design. The project is located in Keqiao, Shaoxing, and the Skypool air villa became the cover project of Shaoxing when it was launched. The designer made a free improvisation on the approach to life from color, form and function.
The architectural design is inspired by the fluttering egrets by the water's edge, and adopts streamline as the main modeling language. The silver metallic aluminum panels and wide floor-to-ceiling glass create a fresh and modern feel, while the floating panels on the façade continue the light rhythm of KINCANG's curves, making the overall appearance simple, pure and elegant. The light curve extends from the building all the way to the residence, and the curve flows on the wall, roof and furniture shape, which is elegant and light. Large dark wood finishes cleverly divide the space, with natural texture of white stone, interesting furniture and soft furnishings embellish it, constructing a rich visual experience of layers.
Stepping into the living and dining room on the first floor, the glittering and flowing home space and the spirited swimming pool intersect, and the free colors run wide in the space, leaping yellow and passionate red, all the senses are actively mobilized. The master bedroom bathroom continues the blue color of the residence, with Mediterranean blue and pearl white mosaic splicing from the wall to the ground, enhancing the depth of the space. The blue double basin and bathtub are made of resin, and their transparent texture is integrated with water, light and dreamy, and the space is enveloped in a sense of permeability and dynamism.
The high ceilings through the two floors break the shackles between the floors and open up the flow. The vertical dark wood veneer enhances the sense of space extension and opens up the view, creating a simultaneous intersection of space and space for people in different activities. The three levels of the space, which are customized for users, include a living room, bedroom, checkroom, study, fitness area, bar and rooftop pool. Based on the concept of flowing space, the space revolves around two "core cylinders" made of metal laminated glass, forming a return line of movement. The space is simply divided as necessary, so that most of the spaces are flowing and connected, and users can use flexible partitions to switch between private and guest modes according to the actual scenario.
The bar area is the best place to relax and rest. The combination of various materials collide to create a delicate texture and rich visual effect, the marble bar breaks the boundary and extends to the star terrace, connecting the inside and outside, friends are either laughing on the terrace or mingling in the bar area, the transparent interface brings interesting interaction. When you walk to the star terrace, which covers an area of about 75 square meters, the view becomes wide. The terrace boldly combines the infinity-edge cantilevered pool in the sky, and the sparkling azure pool is beautiful under the change of sky light and cloud shadow. The space flows, and the new lifestyle is based on design, giving users more possibilities of home experience, enjoying nature and coexisting with it.
