JOYE Technology is a leading office intelligent electrical company in China, headquartered in the northern industrial park in Yuhang District, Hangzhou. LYCS Architecture designed the interior space for the headquarters, including a shared lobby, product showroom, office area and multi-functional area. The design extracts the spirit of its iconic wiring system products. It uses the "nervous central" as the design concept to connect the spatial functions similar to the distribution of neurons to form a unique working environment.
In the public open area, a white undulating connector is used as a spatial interpretation and element of the "nervous central" that spans the entire first two floors. The linkage connects the exhibition center, meeting rooms and the public open area. Its curved floor section forms a public staircase from the first to the second floor, connecting the multi-dimensional spaces. At the same time, its blade-like design enables effective lighting control of the light environment, thus creating a sense of technology with a luminous body in a metallic sense.
In the upper part of the headquarters, the element of the white connector is continued. Its rotating spine shape is used as an open area and a grand staircase interconnecting the floors up to the roof terrace. Unfolding around the central space is the opening office area, where office furniture with JOYE technology products is arranged casually and freely, and supporting this free layout is its self-developed flexible wiring system.
