"Blue Engine Wavelet" is an industrial Internet technology center built by LYCS Architecture for Longfor Group, a leading real estate company in China, with the digital industry direction of Digital Science and Innovation City as the core theme. The design is based on the "interactive office" concept and understands the building as a three-dimensional city. The building is divided by a large atrium running through the north and south of the building. A three-dimensional pedestrian system is placed in the atrium to meet the ultimate pursuit of enterprises for efficient communication.
The project office area revolves around a high atrium, which is cleanly divided into two major functional zones: external and internal. The external space is the meeting and reception space; the internal space is a large open space of nearly 3000 square meters on the standard floor. A lighted atrium links the two, and the traffic space serves as the core landscape with steps, resting platforms, and seating where people can easily engage in various activities. Vertical and horizontal directions run through the entire building, creating natural ventilation. The building façade is composed of curves that seem rippled by the wind. Using the atrium as a partition is a bold attempt and a new interpretation of the modern office.
