The Qingdao Capital Station is located in Badaiguan, Qingdao, with an incredible natural landscape designed and renovated by LYCS Architecture. The design team respects the historical and cultural background of the site, preserves the main style of the building and integrates the main style with the surrounding environment by "taking the essence."
With the design concept of creating a new capital living room, the renovation strategy is to maximize the existing advantages of the site, reorganize the functional distribution and flow design from public to private, and design each space to generate topics around different cultures, thus bringing the hosts and guests closer together and thus generating empathy between people. Regarding internal space integration, the indoor courtyard makes the indoor space full of vitality and better integrated into the urban public space.
The interior design is characterized by the use of materials to create a sophisticated and cozy space. For the color scheme, the designer used warm tones to create a comfortable and warm atmosphere. Wood is one of the main materials used throughout the interior design, retaining the texture of the natural material as well as presenting a refined and noble quality. The use of wooden furniture, walls and flooring harmonizes the entire space while adding life to the interior. The design of the courtyard is also an important part of this interior design. The designer skillfully continues the materials and design elements into the courtyard design, which echoes each other both inside and outside, adding a sense of nature and vitality to the whole interior design.
