Sansong Puyu Building is located in the core of Fuzhou Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone's riverside belt, enjoying a beautiful view of Wulong River. With a total gross floor area of 66642,84 square meters, the project provides a comprehensive business package of office and commercial facilities.
In the rapidly developing Fuzhou New City, the SANSONG PUYU Building presents a unique charm of harmony between movement and stillness and integration of interior and exterior with its simple yet not simplistic architectural design. It has become a beautiful scenic line along the river interface of the high-tech industrial development zone, marking the perfect integration of modern architectural design and the natural environment.
Considering the building regulations that limit the height to 80 meters and the width to 65 meters, the design splits and reshapes the nearly 50,000 square meters of building volume into two separate high-rise towers and a circularly connected podium at the base.
The tower is shaped in an obtuse L-shape on the plane to maximize the view and seamlessly incorporate natural beauty into the building. The two towers with twisted mountain walls are arranged staggered along the north and south sides of the site along the river. A transparent landscape corridor is in the tower's middle, facing the Wulong River to form an unbounded dialogue between architecture and nature.
The design inspiration obtained from the dynamic beauty of the Wulong River water endows the building with a simple yet highly dynamic overall image. The grey curtain wall and white lines form an orderly texture on the building facade. The vertically extending lines on the mountain wall lead the line of sight to the sky, enhancing the upright visual effect of the building while effectively shielding ventilation and equipment rooms, integrating practicality and aesthetics.
The design team focuses on uniformity of tower corner dimensions to achieve standardized production of aluminum plate components, ensuring efficient operation of the construction process and improving the building's economic and environmental friendliness.
The circular elevated podium enhances the flexibility and iconic features of the SANSONG PUYU Building. This continuous structure creates an open space on three levels suitable for reception, office, commercial, and exhibition purposes. At the same time, a main entrance space, a car entrance, and a pedestrian corridor were formed on the first floor.
The circular design also creates a peaceful and inward courtyard for the park and naturally connects with the green space by the river. The carefully designed courtyard landscape and pathways enhance the building's connectivity and sense of community, providing users with an ideal place for relaxation and communication.
