The Zhejiang Digital Publishing and Printing Building is designed by LYCS Architecture with the core design concept of "knowledge carrier" and the corporate spirit of "cultural heritage" of the Publishing Union Group, incorporating the regional culture of Hangzhou and traditional Chinese culture such as movable type printing. The exterior form of the building is perfectly integrated with the interior space, aiming to create a dynamic and elegant image of the group.
From the perspective of echoing the urban space, the main concept of the lobby space is a "city living room", highlighting the inclusive and inclusive pattern and vision of Publishing Union Group. A large intelligent circle is placed in the lobby to enhance the sense of technology and to continue the corporate philosophy of Publishing Union Group of "advancing with the times", empowering the traditional cultural industry with innovative technology and meeting the needs of modern digital communication.
Based on meeting the comfortable scale of the atrium space, a landscaped staircase directly connects the public areas on the 7th and 9th floors. It enhances the convenience of transportation while strengthening the sense of visual extension. The design and material selection of the atrium considers regional natural elements such as Hangzhou West Lake, Zhoushan Island, Qiantang River, Zhejiang West Grand Canyon, etc. We use stretch mesh aluminum panels to create a modern, sparkling look reflecting ambient light. The style of Zhejiang and Jiangxi inspires this design. Additionally, wooden panels provide a warm, comfortable, and friendly feeling to users.
