RUAN Hao is a professor at the School of Architecture, China Academy of Art, and a leading designer of the post-85 generation. Prof. Ruan received his master's degree in architecture from Princeton University in the United States and a master's and bachelor's degree in architecture from Tsinghua University. He was the youngest Visiting Fellow in the history of Harvard Graduate School of Design. He was also selected for the China National Special Support Program for High-Level Talents and was a Specially Appointed Expert of Zhejiang Province.
Prof. Ruan was the youngest recipient of the Young Chinese Architects Award of the Architectural Society of China, the highest honor of its kind. He was also honored as IMAGE Fifty Under Fifty - Innovators of the 21st Century, China Interior Design Association Designer of the Year, China-France Young Leaders, Goldman Sachs Global Leader, and others. Prof. Ruan was also the first architect to be selected "Forbes China's 30 Under 30 Entrepreneurs". His work has won many international awards and has been widely covered by global media such as the New York Times, Time Magazine, and Forbes. Ruan is the founder, chairman and CEO of LYCS Architecture, he is also the founder of Meijian Technology, the largest online interior decoration design platform in China.
